United Soccer Alliance U-18 player Olufolasade Adamolekun “Sade” is going to the Women’s World Cup in France. The 18 year old standout forward for the United Soccer Alliance girls DA will be playing for Jamaica after helping them become the first Caribbean nation to qualify for the World Championship. The 18 year old will be one of the youngest players at the event but will be expected to be a big part of the Raggae Girlz attack when they take the field against Brazil at the Stades des Alpes near Lyon, France on June 6.

“We are incredibly proud and excited for Sade” said DA director and Sade’s coach at United. “The World Cup is a goal that so many dream about but very few ever achieve, especially at such a young age. It is greatly inspiring for the younger players in our program and a testament of the years of hard work put in by Sade. She has become a big part of our family here at Clay County and the feeling of pride we feel is unexplainable, it’s like watching your own daughter reach her dreams, it’s such an overwhelming feeling” said Torres

Sade’s picture was also selected to be on the FIFA World Cup Poster representing Jamaica (shown above).

From everyone at Clay County Soccer and United Soccer Alliance GDA

Good Luck Sade !
