Thirteen players from Clay County Soccers USA (United Soccer Alliance) Girls Development Academy program made history as they signed their college letters of intent on Wednesday. “This is the most prestigious signing class in the 30 year history of Clay County Soccer with 11 of the 13 girls signing with NCAA Div 1 schools. “It is a testament to the hard work and sacrifice that these girls have made since they were very young and we are extremely proud of them. These are some of the top universities and soccer programs in the United States and a collection of schools of this caliber is a first for our girls program.” said the girls coach and GDA Director Luis Torres .
The USA Girls Development Academy Program at Clay County Soccer is a very exclusive program geared towards players that aspire to reach their highest potential. It is a year round program with 72 players in the ages of 11 to 18 years old.
